Studie o životě a díle architekta Bohuslava Šmída (1895-1982) se soustřeďuje na jeho práci v Poličce v době mezi dvěma světovými válkami a připomíná vysokou kvalitu stavební kultury první republiky.

Contributions from Hungary, Slovenia and Moravia offer a view of the history and present of that stream in modern architecture which reflects the tradition and context of the territory of its origin. The essay on the life and work of architect Bohuslav Šmíd (1895-1982) focuses on his buildings in the small East Bohemian town Polička, and evidences the high quality of the building culture in the inter-war Czechoslovakia.
